The Estate in Charlotte is a beautiful 15,000 Square foot private facility open every* weekend exclusively for members of Carolina Friends and is located just minutes from uptown Charlotte. Opened in the fall of 2001, The Estate features an upbeat, friendly, upscale, no pressure atmosphere. We hold events at The Estate every Friday & Saturday evening year round. The state is also open during the summer season for our Saturday and Sunday afternoon Pool Parties. And we also hold Sunday evening events at The Estate the weekend’s of the Summer holidays too. You’ll find a social atmosphere on the first floor at The Estate and a more playful atmosphere on the second floor. Always 100% no pressure, always 100% private… it’s simply the best party around!

*The Estate is sometimes closed on the Saturday evenings a Couples Convention is being held in Charlotte.

General Information

At our Friday & Saturday Evening Parties you may dance the night away … or take to the stage and strut your stuff!! Either way, you’ll enjoy the great music provided by the club DJ!! The Estate features a Billiards Room, Theater Room, three Hot Jacuzzis, two BYOB bars and our extensive and quite comfortable Hospitality Floor. Our heated swimming pool is open during the summer season too! An excellent free hot dinner buffet and hot breakfast buffet is served each night we’re open!

You’ll find a sophisticated, comfortable, classy environment with a great group of folks!! All Carolina Friends standards are always maintained at the Estate. Dressy casual to sexy attire is the norm; dress to impress … we guarantee you a great evening out at our very own private Estate!

Saturday & Sunday Afternoons (in season only) at The Estate feature our clothing optional Heated Pool & Jacuzzis… fun in the sun without the tan lines! A free pool side cookout is provided each afternoon too! It’s a private afternoon retreat you’re sure to love!

Local area hotel rooms are available and free shuttle service to and from local hotels is provided Saturday evening and during some special events. Our reservation service can help arrange your visit and will provide you with the club rate at our designated host hotel for the evening of your visit and provide information on our free shuttle service as well. The prices they will quote you include the door fee to the party and are always “per couple”. Tax is included. You’ll receive the fastest service at the club designated host hotel for that evening. If you’ve made your own arrangements, just stop by The Estate after opening to arrange for shuttle service.

You must be 21 years of age or older to join us. Couples and single ladies are always welcome at all Estate Parties. A very limited number of single gentlemen are welcome at our Friday & Sunday events at The Estate only. Advance reservations for single gentlemen are recommended to guarentee one’s entry. Typical attendance is 60 to 90 couples or more Friday evening; 135 to 175 couples or more on Saturday evening. We encourage new members to arrive before 11 PM; first time attendees will not be admitted after midnight unless prior arrangements have been made. Please contact us if you need such arrangements.

When arriving at The Estate be prepared to show your driver’s license or photo ID at Club Registration. Our Security Guard at the door may also search all bags, coolers, and handbags. Metal detectors may also be used. Safety and privacy are a #1 priority with both Carolina Friends and The Estate.

With the exception of  our Afternoon Pool Parties, ALWAYS and ONLY enter and exit the facility using the Front Door. The rear door in the Jacuzzi Bar area is used as the entrance for the pool parties, and is located on the parking lot side of the building.

Always stop at Club Registration when arriving at any club event.  Name Tags (first names only!) will be provided which must be worn at all times (except at the pool and at times upstairs!) Our Check In staff will always welcome you to The Estate, help you with any questions or concerns.  If you are attending an event at The Estate for the first time, we will provide a quick Orientation and Video Tour of the facility. And if you are attending a club event for the first time, you will also be asked to complete our “Club Agreement and Acknowledgement” form and/or “Carolina Friends Guest Agreement”. Door fees are collected at the time of check-in unless you have a pre-paid reservation. Door fees may be paid in cash; we also accept most major credit cards.

Typical attire is dressy casual for the gentlemen; night club to sexy night attire for the ladies … and we encourage you to dress to impress! Baggy pants, sweat pants, gym attire, un-tucked T-shirts and hats are NOT permitted at our evening events. We are an upscale club, please help us keep it that way by dressing accordingly. We reserve the right to refuse anyone from entering the club based on overall appearance and demeanor. Casual attire is permitted at our afternoon events. We maintain a social atmosphere downstairs with a more playful atmosphere upstairs and in the Theater Room for those more adventuresome. The Jacuzzi Bar area, Pool Deck Bar & Grill, Pool, Jacuzzis, Theater Room and Hospitality Floor are always clothing optional; no street clothing is permitted on the Second Floor (outside the locker room) after 11 PM. The Estate does not serve or sell alcohol; you may bring your own. All soft drinks, juices and mixers are provided …as are cups, ice and refrigeration.

Hours of Operation:

  • Friday Evening:
    Doors open at 8:00 PM and the party continues until 6:00 AM Saturday morning. No one is admitted after 2:00 AM.
  • Saturday Evening:
    Doors open at 8:00 PM and the party continues until 8:00 AM Sunday morning. No one is admitted after 4:00 AM.
  • Sunday Evening – Summer Holiday Weekends:
    Doors open at 8:00 PM the party continues until 6:00 AM Monday morning. No one is admitted after 2:00 AM.
  • Saturday Afternoon & Sunday Holiday Afternoon Pool Parties:
    In season only! Door opens at 11 AM on Saturday; we use the Jacuzzi Bar entrance only for the afternoon parties. If attending just the Pool Party, you are welcome to relax and enjoy the pool until 8 PM. If attending both the Pool Party and the Evening Party, you are welcome to relax and enjoy the pool as long as you wish and may freshen up and join us at the evening party at any time. The showers are available for your use.

    • Clothing optional.
    • Glass containers are not permitted in the Jacuzzi and Pool areas.
    • Chairs are limited. We suggest you bring your own towel and lounge chair.
    • A free poolside cookout is also provided … burgers, dogs and all the fixings. You may bring your own items to grill as well.
    • The entire facility is open for your enjoyment during our afternoon Pool Parties.
    • We suggest arriving prior to 3:00 PM if you wish to join us for the poolside cookout.
    • Club Registration is closed between 6:00 and 8:00 PM on Saturday and Holiday Sundays.  Our front door opens for the Friday & Saturday evening and summer holiday Sunday evening parties at 8:00 PM.
  • Non Holiday Sunday Afternoon Pool Parties:
    In season only! Door opens at Noon on Sunday; we use the Jacuzzi Bar entrance only for the afternoon parties. If attending just the Pool Party, you are welcome to relax and enjoy the pool until 8 PM.

    • Glass containers are not permitted in the Jacuzzi and Pool areas.
    • Chairs are limited. We suggest you bring your own towel and lounge chair.

Singles Information

Single Ladies:
Ladies without male partners are always admitted at the discounted price shown on the prices page and paid members are admitted free when attending with a member couple. Ladies are not restricted from any portion of The Estate.

Single Gentleman:
A limited number of single gentlemen are welcome at our Friday and Sunday parties at The Estate only. We restrict the number of single men admitted to approximately 10 to 15% of the crowd. (The normal Friday evening attendance is 60 to 90 couples.)

The following guidelines determine which single gentlemen will be admitted:

  • All single gentlemen arriving with a couple will be admitted.
  • All single gentlemen with an advance reservation made through our reservation service will be admitted (we reserve the right to limit such reservations).
  • Any single gentleman arriving without a reservation or not in the company of a couple or single female will be admitted, as long as space permits. We do NOT recommend this as attendance of single gentlemen is limited as noted above.
  • Single Gentleman pay the same door fee as couples.
  • Single Gentlemen are restricted from the Hospitality Floor and Theater Room of The Estate unless accompanied by a female or couple. This rule is strictly enforced. Violators will be restricted from attending future events as a single.
  • Single Gentlemen may only obtain first floor lockers.
  • When arriving at The Estate, single gentlemen will be asked to show their driver’s license. The security team is given a listing of the single gentlemen who have reservations. If your name is not on that list, security will ask you to wait and take your driver’s license to the Manager On Duty to either approve or deny your entry.

Behavior Guidelines

  1. NO means NO, and should never need to be stated more than once. Please locate a staff member if you are having trouble and let them handle the situation. We can’t help if we don’t know you are having an issue, so please report any instance where you are made to feel uncomfortable to a staff member immediately. Staff members can always be found at the front check-in, bar and attendant areas.
  2. NO camera or video equipment of any kind are allowed. If you have a camera phone … LEAVE IT IN YOUR VEHICLE. Otherwise it will have to be checked at the door.
  3. NO guns or knives of any kind are allowed, including pocket knives.
  4. Behavior – Alcohol Related: If you have had a little too much fun during the evening and have become intoxicated, you may be asked to leave. Transportation by our security team may be offered and will be determined on a case by case basis.
  5. Behavior – Disrespectful Conduct: Loud, rude, obnoxious, pushy or insensitive behavior is not acceptable. Should we receive any complaints regarding your conduct, you will be warned once and asked to leave on the next occurrence during that party. If you are repeatedly being warned at events, your ability to attend events will be suspended or revoked. We do not like handing out warnings or asking people to leave, so please conduct yourself in an appropriate manner and follow the rules.
  6. No glass at the Jacuzzis or around Pool. Plastic cups can always be found at the bar. Please pour beverages into a plastic cup and dispose of the glass container in the trash can.
  7. Social Downstairs – Playful Upstairs. Please take your more playful activities upstairs or to the Theater Room. Teasing, flirting and other social activities are fine downstairs … please share your passion with those most interested upstairs!
  8. Clothing Requirements. We suggest you dress to impress! Typical attire is dressy casual for the gentlemen; night club to sexy night club attire for the ladies. Baggy pants, sweat pants, gym attire, un-tucked T-shirts and hats are NOT permitted at our evening events. We are an upscale club, please help us keep it that way by dressing accordingly. We reserve the right to refuse anyone from entering the club based on overall appearance and demeanor. Casual attire is permitted at our afternoon events. The Jacuzzi Bar area, theater Room and Pool are always “Clothing Optional”. The balance of the first floor is not clothing optional until after midnight. You may let the DJ know your desire for a “Clothing Optional” first floor at any time … our goal to create the atmosphere you want! Sexy attire is always welcome and you may tease, flirt and flash as much as you like on the first floor. The  second floor is clothing optional before 11 PM and is designated as “No Street Clothing” after 11 PM; sexy lingerie, towels and nothing at all are then welcome in this area. Please always sit on towel whenever and wherever you have disrobed. Towels are available upstairs from the attendants and on the Jacuzzi Bar area.
  9. No Drugs of any kind are allowed. All State and Federal Laws must be obeyed. Possession of drugs, drug use and/or drunkenness will not be tolerated, and will result in your immediate removal from the facility. Those who are found with drugs will be immediately arrested by security.
  10. Damages – All property of the facility should be treated with care. Members are responsible for any damages.
  11. Privacy – The protection of the club’s and it’s members’ privacy is a MUST. As a member, you should maintain and protect the privacy of club members, club operators and the club in general at all times. Be careful not to do or say anything which may encourage public interest in the club. Any action, communication or activity engaged in that results in any amount of public disclosure of the club, it’s members, it’s operators, club functions or where club functions are held is a violation of club rules. You will be required to pay the sum of $10,000,000 US plus all fees associated with the legal action to the club if you willfully provide information about the club, it’s members, it’s operators or the location of club functions to; any agent/representative of any media organization or to any individual, group or organization which results in actions causing direct or indirect public disclosure of the club, it’s members, it’s operators or the event facility; OR if you are acting as agents or representative of the media or other individuals, groups or organizations seeking information with the intent of causing public disclosure of the club, it’s members, it’s operators or the event facility within 30 days of the public disclosure.
  12. Unattended Beverages – Unless placed in a designated Exempt area or in a member provided closed top container, all unattended beverages will be discarded when found. You may ask for an exemption at club registration which we will be happy to provide.

Hospitality Floor Guidelines (second floor):

  1. Unaccompanied Gentlemen are not allowed on the Hospitality Floor without being invited and in the company of at least one female or couple. This includes the locker area. 1st offense: asked to return downstairs. 2nd offense: asked to leave the party. 3rd offense: Membership revoked.
  2. Closed doors equals privacy. If a door to a room is closed, you should not attempt to open the door, knock on the door, shout through the door or disturb the party inside in any way. If you are in need of a private room, ask the hosts to assist you in obtaining a room when one is free. We will provide you with an electronic pager so you can continue to enjoy the party while waiting for your room!
  3. No Street Clothing Area. You must be out of your street clothes after 11pm on the second floor. You may wear sexy lingerie, a towel or nothing at all.
  4. Nexxus Room Attire You may watch or show off… if watching, please remove your towels!
  5. No Food or Drink Let’s keep it clean. Ice Water and cups provided on the second Floor
  6. No Pressure. Never join unless invited. No means No with No Explanation needed. Never Touch unless Permission is granted first; Never Be A Nuisance!

Theater Room Guidelines:
