Carolina Friends Frequently Asked Questions

We try to answer email and return phone calls as quickly as we can.... and enjoy doing so! So in an effort to provide you with the fastest way to get the answers to your questions, here are some of the most frequently asked questions.

How can I join?

  • Submit your membership application form and payment online. (see Membership page)
    OR
  • Join our Club Roster online (FREE) and pay your membership dues when you attend your first event.
  • Print and complete the membership application - by mail form available here and return it to us via the US Mail. Please mail your membership dues to us along with a completed membership application form.
  • Join Club Nexxus as a paid member. We honor all paid Club Nexxus memberships at all Club Events. Complete Carolina Friends club and party information will be provided to new Club Nexxus members.

What's Required to join?

  • A completed membership application including your full name (s) and a valid mailing address must be completed. While we require full names and addresses from new members, we protect your privacy as if it were our own!
  • You must also include payment of the appropriate membership fee ... see Membership Options for specific details.
  • A valid Picture ID or Driver's License and completion of our agreement forms will be required when you attend your first event.

Where can I find directions to club events?

Directions to Club Events are provided only to members and those who have joined our Club Roster. Directions are NOT located on the public portion of our site as our events are open to members only! Using the member password you were provided when you joined Carolina Friends, enter the Members Area to locate directions to club events. If you are just joining Carolina Friends, your password to the Members Area will be emailed to you. Become a Carolina Friends Member Now!

What are the costs & details of membership?

Cost and Details of Membership can be found on on the Membership Options page of our web site. Follow the Membership Information link to find a complete outline of membership options and costs.

Do we need to be a member to attend events?

YES, you must be a member to attend events. We are able to legally have our events because we qualify as a Private Club. Which, of course, we are! One factor in qualifying for Private Club status is having a membership requirement.

Where can I find event/party details?

Event/Party Details can be found in both the Public and Member's Event Calendars. Everyone may review the general details about each event by following the Event Information link. Those on our Club Roster will find more details in the Online Flyer itself which is located in the Online Flyer portion of the Members Area. Members will find the most recent party details in the Members Area Event Calendar. Go to Public Event Calendar!

Are events open to single gentlemen?

Events Open To Single Gentlemen can be found by checking the Member's Event Calendar ... Just follow the Event Calendar link! Those events open to single men are clearly identified! As we always limit the number of single men who can attend these specially designated events, you may also want to review the policy we follow in making these admissions. You’ll find it on the Private Party page of our web site … just follow the Event Information link; then the Private Party link. Most events in general and all Saturday events are open to couples or couples and single ladies only!

Is it really a NO pressure atmosphere?

Yes, 100% no pressure! We provide a fun, upbeat, atmosphere where you can mix and mingle with others or not as you wish. Spend an exciting evening out with your spouse; enjoy the comfortable atmosphere; dance into the wee hours, meet and explore opportunities with new friends and party into the wee hours … the options are all yours and only yours to make! We only ask and expect that you respect the privacy and same rights of the others you meet.

What are the costs of events?

Cost of our events can be found in both the Public and Member's Event Calendar sections. Door fees only (also known as the "party only" price) can be found on the General Information page. Room & Party Prices (as well as Party Only Prices) can be found in the Online Flyer (which is available only to those on our Club Roster) section in the Members Area ... just follow the Membership link.

What time do we need to arrive for events?

We suggest arriving earlier rather than later ... you'll get a better seat and be able to explore a bit easier. We suggest anyone who wants to join us for the free hot dinner buffet arrive before 10:30pm.New Couples are encouraged to arrive before 10:00pm. First time attendees are not admitted after Midnight unless you request special permission to do so ... if you need such permission, just let us know! Go to Public Event Calendar!

Will we be given a walk-thru of the Estate?

We always provide a tour of the facility for all first time attendees during which our tour guides will explain the rules we play by and show you where everything is located at the facility.

What do we need to bring with us to an event?

You will need photo IDs as it is your first visit. If you wish to drink any beer, wine or alcohol and the event you are attending does not offer a cash bar, please bring any alcohol you would like to drink with you as well. For those events where a cash bar is not provided, we provide all mixers, sodas and juices. Any personal items you may require should be brought as well.
