Our Charlotte Couples Conventions & Hotel Takeovers are held in beautiful convention and first class hotels that are booked exclusively for the club on the Saturday’s we’re there! That’s right…. we’ll enjoy complete privacy on Saturday at these first class hotels! We hold Couples Conventions and Hotel Takeovers a couple of times each year in Charlotte and we hope you will be able to join us!

Great music, decorated ballroom, terrific folks and a no pressure atmosphere all help make our events the place to meet couples and/or enjoy an exciting evening or weekend out with your significant other. Couples and single ladies seeking an upbeat, open minded atmosphere or who want to meet other couples interested in friendship, fun and the opportunity to explore fantasies are welcome to join us. Our Charlotte Couples Conventions and Hotel Takeover dances always have a theme. You’re welcome to attend whether you choose to participate in the evenings’ theme or not!
The typical Charlotte Couples Convention and Hotel Takeover weekends begin on Friday evening at The Estate, a private facility we operate and open just for the club. Join us for one evening or make it a weekend… just don’t miss the fun! At the hotel, the Saturday fun starts that afternoon with music, games, contests, vendors and other special attractions… a great way to start the party early and meet new friends!
We also hold a New Couples Seminar Saturday afternoon. All couples attending their first club event are encouraged to attend.
The evening’s dance start at 8 PM. Around midnight we put out a late night snack and open our late night hospitality area…. a great way to keep the party going into the wee hours! You’ll enjoy the complete privacy, beautiful setting and great crowd at our couples Convrntions. We typically have over 300 couples at the smaller hotel takeovers and between 500 and 600 couples at the larger ones….all we need is you!
A full service hotel operated cash bar is provided.
If you would like a hotel room, advance reservations are recommended …every event does sell out! Please contact our reservation service for help with any convention and/or hotel reservation. Reservations are not needed unless you wish to have a hotel room in conjunction with the event.
Saturday Afternoon Meet & Greet
Things start on Saturday afternoon with our Afternoon Meet & Greet. Afternoons are laid back, casual, and relaxing get-togethers. Activities will be planned for each event. Be sure to take a look at the special pages for the event to see which activities have been planned. Generally, over half the crowd that will be attending the evening party will be at the Afternoon Meet & Greet as well.
New couples will find plenty of folks that will more than happy to talk with you one-on-one about the lifestyle, their experiences, and/or any concerns you may have. It’s a friendly crowd that understands how it is to be new!
Vendors will be on hand to provide an afternoon of relaxed lifestyle shopping. Other planned activities will also take place throughout the hotel. Some examples of activities might be: Football games on TV, Poker Tournaments, Naked Twister, Fun Adult Games, Pole/Lap Dancing Lesson, Comedy Show, Door Prize Drawings and much more!! Be sure and see the schedule for each event to see what we have planned.
The Main Event – Our Ballroom Dance
We decorate the ballroom according to our theme for each event. Music is provided by a professional DJ, who does a super job of keeping folks up on their feet dancing all night long. The music is a mix, our DJ has just about anything you would like to hear. The emphasis is on good, upbeat dance music, with enough slow songs to help couples connect! The ballroom is setup with tables that allow for easy conversation. Also…
- Designated Smoking areas are provided where possible by law.
- The doors open at 7:30pm, and the DJ starts the music at 8:00 pm and goes until 2:00 am.
- Restrooms are conveniently located in the ballroom area. Sleeping rooms are only a few steps away.
- Just after Midnight, we bring out snack and drinks….be sure to grab a bite to eat and visit our Late Night Hospitality Suites.
Late Night Hospitality Suites
Just after midnight on the Saturday nights of our Conventions, we open our private late night party suites which are located in the sleeping room area of the hotel. The late night party suites serve as socializing focal point for all those folks that stay up late, and we keep them open until the last couple crashes …with one designated just for our nudist friends. Also…
- Music, sodas, ice, light snacks and more are provided in the Hospitality area or where the Late Night Snacks are being served!
- We play by the same rules as always.
- No means No. Please also be respectful and ask permission before touching.
- The hospitality suite area is always ladies choice – which means that you must enter and leave the hospitality suites with the lady who accompanied you in. Gentlemen without a partner present with them are not allowed to enter or remain in the hospitality suites.
- All hospitality suites, with the exception of the Nude Room, are clothing optional. We encourage you to make yourselves comfortable and wear your PJ’s or lingerie to the hospitality suites.
- To enter the Nude Room, you must be completely nude.
- Smoking is not permitted in the hospitality suites.
- Please do not turn the lights to the hospitality rooms on or off. Please locate one our hospitality attendants should any adjustments to the lighting be required.
- The doors to the hospitality suites must remain open at all times.
- The hospitality suite is a great place to stay up late, socialize, and make new friends!
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Join new friends and old and support our hotel …typically the hotel restaurant will be open for your dining convenience for breakfast, lunch and dinner! There is an extra charge for meals payable to the hotel. Please see the specific party page for each couples convention for further details on hotel food service.
Hotel Information
Our hotels are fully aware of the nature of our group, and we have an excellent working relationship with them. Both the Carolina Friends and the hotel provide security, creating a safe and secure environment. The hotel does not answer any questions about our club. While the hotel management may be fully aware of the nature of our group, all of their employees may not be. Help protect the groups’ privacy…do NOT discuss our group or our lifestyle with hotel employees at any time! Please check the event schedule to be sure where the party is being held.
