Our Charlotte Convention Hotel Takeovers are held in a beautiful convention hotel that is booked exclusively for the club! That’s right…. we’ll enjoy complete privacy throughout the hotel on the afternoon and evening of this special club event! We hope you will be able to join us. We also hold Charlotte Hotel Takeovers throughout the year in smaller hotels as well. You’ll find information on those hotel takeovers and the night club events we hold elsewhere on this web site.

Our New Years Eve Charlotte Hotel Takeover will be held

Great music, decorated ballroom, terrific folks and a no pressure atmosphere all help make our events the place to meet couples and/or enjoy an exciting evening or weekend out with your significant other.  Couples and single ladies seeking an upbeat, open minded atmosphere or who want to meet other couples interested in friendship, fun and the opportunity to explore fantasies are welcome to join us. Our Charlotte Hotel Takeover dances always have a theme. You’re welcome to attend whether you choose to participate in the evenings’ theme or not!

Our Charlotte Halloween Hotel Takeover event begins Saturday afternoon at 2 PM with our afternoon Meet & Greet, Lifestyle Vendors and much more …a great way to start the party early and meet new friends! Our New Years Eve Hotel Takeover begins Wednesday afternoon at 3 PM with our afternoon Meet & Greet.

We also hold a New Couples Seminar late afternoon and again mid evening. All couples attending their first club event are encouraged to attend. New Couple Orientation is also provided as needed for those new couples who cannot attend the group seminars.

The evening’s Room Crawl begins at 7 PM and the main event, the evening’s ballroom dance starts at 8 PM. Around midnight we put out a special late night snack and open our late night hospitality area…. a great way to keep the party going into the wee hours! The New Years Eve midnight snack will be available shortly after midnight …when we provide a complimentary champagne toast with party favors and noisemakers for all.

You’ll enjoy the complete privacy, beautiful setting and great crowd at our Charlotte Convention Hotel Takeovers. We are expecting over 500 couples at these special Hotel Takeovers (and between 150 and 250 couples at the smaller hotel takeovers) …all we need is you!

A full service hotel operated cash bar is provided.

If you would like a hotel room, advance reservations are recommended …every event does sell out! Reservations may be made online anytime. If you need help or are booking as a single lady, please call the club reservation help line . Reservations are not needed unless you wish to have a hotel room in conjunction with the event.

Afternoon Meet & Greet

Things start at 2 PM  at our Halloween event and 3 PM at our New Years Eve event with our Afternoon Meet & Greet. Afternoons are laid back, casual, and relaxing gatherings. The Hotel Bar will be open and our Lifestyle Vendors ready to serve you. Late afternoon. Please see the party pages for each event for more details on any special activities.

New couples will find plenty of folks that will more than happy to talk with you one-on-one about the lifestyle, their experiences, and/or any concerns you may have. It’s a friendly crowd that understands how it is to be new!

Evening Room Crawl.

Our Room Crawl Host Couples will opening their rooms with free jello shots and other goodies. Any member may open their room for the crawl and all members are invited to the crawl. Make new friends and visit with old ones during the early evening hours …typically from 7 or 8 through 9 or 10 PM or beyond! You are welcome to BYOB in your hotel room or any club sponsored sleeping room at any time.

The Main Event – Our Ballroom Dance

We decorate the ballroom according to our theme for each event.   Music is provided by a professional DJ, who does a super job of keeping folks up on their feet dancing all night long. The music is a mix, our DJ has just about anything you would like to hear. The emphasis is on good, upbeat dance music, with enough slow songs to help couples connect!  The ballroom is setup with tables that allow for easy conversation. Also…

  • Designated Smoking areas are provided where possible by law.
  • The ballroom doors open at 7:30 PM; the DJ starts the music at 8:00 PM and goes until 2:00 AM.
  • Restrooms are conveniently located right outside ballroom area.
  • Around 11 PM at the Halloween event, we’ll hold the Halloween Costume Contest.
  • Just before Midnight at the New Years Eve event,  we’ll break out the complimentary Champagne, party favors and noise makers.
  • Just after Midnight, we bring out the special snack….be sure to grab a bite to eat and visit our Late Night Hospitality Suites.

Late Night Hospitality Suites

Just after midnight at our Convention Hotel Takeovers, we open our private late night party suites which are located in the sleeping room area of the hotel. You can also visit our Sybian Room and Mistress Marie as well! The late night party suites serve as socializing focal point for all those folks that stay up late, and we keep them open until the last couple crashes. Also…

  • We play by the same rules as always.
  • No means No. Please also be respectful and ask permission before touching.
  • The hospitality suite area is always ladies choice – which means that you must enter and leave the hospitality suites with the lady who accompanied you in. Gentlemen without a partner present with them are not allowed to enter or remain in the hospitality suites.
  • All hospitality suites are clothing optional. We encourage you to make yourselves comfortable and wear your PJ’s or lingerie to the hospitality suites.
  • Smoking is not permitted in the hospitality suites.
  • Please do not turn the lights to the hospitality rooms on or off. Please locate one of our hospitality attendants if adjustments to the lighting be required.
  • The doors to the hospitality suites must remain open at all times.
  • The hospitality suite is a great place to stay up late, socialize, and make new friends!

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Join new friends and old and support our hotel …the hotel restaurant will be open for your dining convenience for breakfast, lunch and dinner! There is an extra charge for meals payable to the hotel. Please see the specific party page for each hotel takeover for further details on hotel food service.

Hotel Information

Our hotels are fully aware of the nature of our group, and we have an excellent working relationship with them. Both the Carolina Friends and the hotel provide security, creating a safe and secure environment.  The hotel does not answer any questions about our club. While the hotel management may be fully aware of the nature of our group, all of their employees may not be. Help protect the groups’ privacy…do NOT discuss our group or our lifestyle with hotel employees at any time! Please check the event schedule to be sure where the party is being held.
